They were the first to market an online Printed Circuit Board (PCB) ordering tool, that streamlined the industry overnight. Innovation is in the DNA of Sunstone, and it’s now joined forces with American Standard Circuits to become the Ultimate PCB Solution!
Emails
Our second biggest testing zone for customer preferences, email provides us a huge amount of traffic and is our most direct form of marketing. I took this over in the summer of 2019, in which deep refreshes to all templates and drip campaigns took place.
Along with the full redesign and fresh branding we increased Click-Through 200% and Opens 10% over the last half of 2019. With the bump in readership came significant improvements and savings with audience management.


















AdRoll
This is the first place we experiment with branding elements. Our most successful AdRoll influences many of our messaging in emails, landing pages, and extended publications.
Many of these are our more successful or most experimental campaigns. The general process comes from defining a single particular element, phrase, or tone and cycling out from there.















Buttons & CTAs
Along with the full redesign of our email channel and its associated templates, also came a revision of all of its assets. Many time worn assets were envisioned anew. Most were streamlined and flattened to better fit with the new theme, and even localized.
A big must for the new graphics was a friendlier, more playful approach with border infringements, lifestyle elements, and gradients.



















Functional Documents
Design and data are a living, breathing, thing. Static images on a page come alive with data; lending their contextual insights and visual cues for easy organization, and attractive story-telling.
These documents are fed by spreadsheets that, like a theater’s stage crew, work behind the scenes to put on a compelling show for their data.




Shortcuts to Savings
Tasked with creating “how-to” videos for the purpose of educating customers, as quickly as possible for a minimum viable product.
These videos went from subject, script, production, and finally to full edit in less than 24 hours.
Fun & Flare!
One of the more eclectic, edgy, and sometimes off-brand. These printable and shareable assets are used in a variety of ways in the company. Many become prized editions to be added to gift bags and touring kits for visiting clients.
